Honey Heist was my team's entry for the Itch.io 32-bit game jam 2021. The project took 2 weeks to complete in Unreal Engine 4.
My role was Game director / Producer. I was fortunate to work with a complete team which covered all aspects of game development, so I got the opportunity to direct things like; the voice-acting of the villain that taunts the player through the game, what the objectives of the gameplay would be, based on the writing of the background story and what each stage should sound like to make each area feel unique.
From the Art side of thigs I was responsible for modelling modular environment kits, modelling props, level design and setting up unreal engine materials. The team used a retro art plugin, so I needed to create a new art pipeline that prevented visual artefacts with the shader in game, whilst also pushing for the highest quality of art the within the limitations of the art style.
